Staying at the Pullman Dresden Newa was an unexpected delight. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the atmosphere struck a balance between welcoming and professional - a testament to the well-trained staff. Our room, upgraded to one of the hotel’s finest, offered stunning views of the promenade and distant glimpses of the old town. The interior featured a unique touch with a swing right in the middle of the room, blending modernist charm with a dash of whimsy. This design choice added an intellectual flair that I hadn't anticipated but greatly appreciated. The restaurant, although decent, presented a rather limited menu. However, the quality of the meals provided was surprisingly good, maintaining a standard that left us satisfied. This hotel certainly sets a high bar for surprising guests in the best possible way.

Straight next to the station. Extremely value for money. Always great views if you are higher up. One side overlooks main station, other side over the square and city. Room was spacious, luxurious and a very pleasant feel to it. I felt like I was in a 10 star hotel, it's luxury all over the place. Staff very helpful and friendly. No problem storing my bags for the day, on the day I left. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Bonus tip: Greek restaurant across the road is really good. Bonus tip 2: If you are into steam trains, only 15 minutes by train in two different directions, you have daily steam train rides from March to November. Search for Weißeritztalbahn and Lößnitzgrundbahn. Also the Museum for transport (Verkehrsmuseum) in the centre of Dresden is very much worth a visit.

What we liked about the hotel was for sure the location, which turned out to be closer to the train station than we expected. We enjoyed the view from the top floor, spacious room, presence of fridge, comfy bed, and functional bathroom with big sink, good makeup mirror&light, and big, uncommon shower in the middle of the room. What’s more the 24/7 reception was an advantage. Additional thing I liked for sure was the Geburtstagsüberraschung (in form of a piece of cake and a letter) I received from the hotel, as I had my birthday during the stay.

14 floor chain hotel, so a little corporate and soulless. Shower location a little odd. Window is full height and width of the room - a bit startling at first but actually really good. Kettle and Nespresso machine and a fridge.. our view was looking up Pragerstrasse. Pragerstrasse was bouncing on Friday and Saturday - live music, outdoor bars and a huge choice of street food. Don't know if it's like that every weekend or if we were lucky. Hotel staff very professional and extremely helpful.

Good location, close to train stations and not far from the old town (15-20minutes) . Beautiful city to just walk a round. Room itself , the furniture and bathroom you can see the ages of it and needs a renovation sooner or later, but still spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is of good quality selection and you can have fresh made fried eggs. Coffee on the table already when you walked in that is very nice.
